C is for……….

CALF- In the holidays we are going to go to this school called CALF to learn French. We will be going three times a week for one and a half hours.

Camel – We saw six camels at the same time just outside of the hospital compound the other day. Apparently they are all moving on to get ready for the rainy season because they don’t like getting their feet wet!

Camel models- Last weekend we went out to an art place and there we bought two Chadian models of camels!

Camp beds- We have been sleeping on our veranda on some camp beds which we bought it’s a lot cooler out there!

Cat- We have now got a cat! She is black all over with bits of Tabby, we have called her Mowzer!

Cat 2- About a week ago we heard a strange noise coming from our veranda roof, later when Dad had a look it turned out we had a family of wild cats
living up there including two babies who didn’t have their eyes open!

Chad- Where we live!

Chameleon – That’s what was in the picture last time, unfortunately that one died but we now have a new one.

Chauffeur- Lately we have employed a Chadian man to take us to and from school so that our dad can get something done!

Cold (ish)- Lately it has been raining and has been down to 26° very cold for Chad we even considered putting a jumper on! Unfortunately this only lasted for about 2 hours after that it got hot again! Also soon it will be the rainy season which is apparently a lot cooler and muddier!

Comprends- Understand in French, we are starting to do more and more of that!

Conge- Is the French word for holidays which are coming up soon we will be off from July to September! Also we have got 1 week off as the older children are doing tests, so could you send us a time for Skype please!

Cook- We have got a Chadian cook here who is called Rebecca she is cooking us Chadian food like boule! Also once she won a cooking competition and got a medal so we have a first class cook!

Hope you like our blog and everything is ok in England sorry we haven’t blogged for a while-been busy! Please post a comment so we know what you think!
